The Landmark for the generations

Sesto Fiorentino, founded in 7th century BC by the Romans as sextus ab urbe lapis ( "Sixth mile from Town Milestone" ), today with its 50.000 inhabitants and the Rugby club since 1982 joined recently with their veterans EVRA and the European veteran rugby activities.
The "Old Rugby group" aims to be the landmark for the generations of players who quitted, but still would like to continue playing their favourite game.

Sesto Rugby Club started with a group of enthusiasts who invited, about thirty years ago, Town youngsters to try playing this hard game . . . and the continous work and success "brought" in 1995 the new Municipal rugby stadium; since then Club is constantly progressing having the first XV competitive team and the "junior sector of different age groups" ready to follow the steps of their predecessors.

Organising the Tournament  this month "Triangolare della Trippa e Lampredotto" Sesto Fiorentino oldies are inviting rugby friends to join them . . . info at d.difeo69@hotmail.it
