Vice-Champion

LET US GO THE LONG WAY TO MAKE FRIENDS

With this idea José Redondo and his friends started 40 years ago in the small town of Lousa (about 8.000 inhabitants) to build the rugby club that today is the Vice-Champion of Portuguese National Championships and has “full structure”
from the best “School of Rugby” for children and youngsters, over two senior teams to very active veterans.

During very pleasant and emotional evening at the Gala Dinner, many of club members had been awarded for the long contribution to the rugby development in the central area of Portugal.

Especially the long co-operations with Ecolé de Rugby, Prades, France (since 1983) and C.R.A.T. / Galicia Old Boy, Spain (since 1989) were emphasized as one of the key-factors for the Club development.
