RUGBY MUSEUM AT COLLEFERRO (Rome)
In occasion of the 2nd Old Brucat Tournament in Rome, EVRA Secretary has visited the new rugby museum in Colleferro.
Museum ´s founder and Curator Corrado Mattocia with his assistants Simona De Toma and Gaetano Di Laura succeeded only in three years to collect and expose imposing number of rugby trophies, memorabilia, among which are also 600 rugby jerseys from all over the world . . .
80 of these jerseys, starting with "old generations“ of Italian rugby and the one of the legendary captains, Marco Bollesan "finishing“ with actual well known players, are exposed in Treviso at the exhibition relating with Junior IRB World Championships, to start this week in Italy with the game v. All Blacks.
The possibility of EVRA - Rugby Museum Colleferro co-operation with other well known museums of rugby has been discussed, as well as the possibility to organize appropriate exhibitions in occasion of European Veteran - Oldie Rugby Festivals.
