XV Georg Holek - Vladislav Petras Memorial Cup in Rottweil
15th edition of Georg Holek Cup reminded, the oldest ones, at the very begining of this traditional tournament in 2003 when Czech, German (and Suisse) veterans strated to meet regulary each year . . .
In Rottweil (Germany) there were again three teams - the Checs (Moravian Eagles and
RC Ricany O33) and the Germans (RBW Oldies International) to share wonderfull weekend of Rugby.
This year tournament had memorial character - before the games started all the teams paid the honour with a minute of silence to Vladislav Petras (Prague), one of the founders of this international event.
Rugby Club Rottweil with their numeros helpers were the organisers, showing the good will and the hospitality that each of the participants appreciated.
After two days of "Round a robin" games Ricany O33 veterans won "impressively" the Tournament, followed by The Moravian Eagles and the hosts RBW Oldies.
RBW Oldies selection included the veterans from Konstanz, Freiburg, Stuttgart, Pforzheim, Heidelberg (HRK 1872 e.V and SCN 02) and Rottweil.
The guest player came from far away - South America - Chile, 61 years old Soteras "senior" (see photo) came as the member of Universidad Catholica - Burros Veteranos (The Donkeys), traditional club from Santiago de Chile, to play at this tournament for the third time
