Saturday, October 8 was held in Mantua the 3rd International Rugby Old "Salami, Sausages and . . . Oval Ball“ Tournament .
The Event, organized by Senatori Virgiliani Old Rugby Club, has hosted this year the veterans from all over the country. They have participated in the Union Team, selected from the players of Sicily, Calabria and Puglia, as well as in the club-teams of the Old Rugby Pesaro, the Allupins Prato, the Old Ruggers Rugby Treviso and Modena Veterans.

The day began with a welcome drink in the city center, awarded by UNESCO as the World Heritage Site. Then in the afternoon the tournament games were played with two rounds, finishing with the "Final Game“ Barbarians A vs. Barbarians B, both teams made up of the player formations of the various groups. After the customary exchange of gifts and the wishes of thanks, the "via“ to the third half-time, with classic dishes of the Mantua cuisine and musical entertainment, was open . . .

The Event in the spirit of Old was full of Fun, Friendship and Solidarity, that all participants will have a good memory of  . . .
