FROM HERTOGENBOSCH 1992 TO THE "MEMORIAL DAY" 2015
Gli Urogalli, the veterans of ASD - Udine - Rugby RC, started their activities more than 30 years ago, in 1981.
Playing continuosly since then in Italy and in many European countries, like former Chekoslovakia and Yugoslavia, France, Hungary, Ireland, The Netherlands, Spain (just to mention some of them), they were also one of the first Italian veterans taking part at the 1st ever European Golden Oldies Rugby Festival in 1992 in Hertogenbosch.
The year after, amóng few European vetera´n clubs, they participated 8th World Golden Oldies Rugby Festival 1993 in Dublin (Ireland).
About fourthy very active members are organising for many years each May the Tournament of their own under the name "Memorial Day".
Since this year the Tournament is the part of Licor Beirao EVRA European Series and the President Sergio Bracci "promises" again to organize enjoyable veteran rugby event with the participation of Italian and the teams from the neighbouring countries. For details see EVRA Events Calendar 2015 . . .
Gli Urogalli joined EVRA this year as the Club member with the intention to contribute to the further development and activities of veteran rugby in Europe.
