HONEY CUP -
"TEST" FOR ENGLAND

WFS Siedlce - the host of EVRA European Festival 2017 with Polish Rugby Union (Poland Veterans) and in co-operation with Town of Siedlce, organized3rd HONEY CUP Veteran Tournament, this time as the part of the celebreties of 35th Anniversary of Rugby in this "young" Polish rugby centre. This time only three teams took part - Grey Lions, Lviv (Ukraine), Selection Poland Veterans and Siedlce WFS Old Boys.

As the most of 74 players at the Tourmanent were "Under 45" , the Organising Board led by Jacek Wierbiczky  and Gregorcz Pliska, decided to play
competitively under the Veteran rules. The Tournament started, as usual,  with the kick-off by Town Councillor Peter Karas.

The games had been played at the Stadium of Development Agency Siedlce under the Round a Robin" system.

Poland Veterans - selection from 12 clubs from Budowlani, Gdansk, Gdynia, Lublin, Sopot, Warszaw and Siedlce led by trainer Miroslaw Zorawski decided all games in their favour and won the 1st Place prize - ceramic hand-painted cup full with "mead".

The Fair - Play Award went to Grey Lions from Lviv.

The best Player of the Tournament was Thomas Romanowicz (Poland Vets).

The games had been refereed by experienced referee Mariusz Myrcha.

The "Third halftime" with the awarding ceremony started at the "Fan Zone" of the Stadium, to be continued until the late in the night at "Egoista" Pub  . . .
