THE FIRST EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING HELD IN PANCEVO (Serbia) (Kopie 1)

The first Executive Board Meeting was held in Pancevo during the E.V.R.A. Tournament on April 30th 2011.
 
One of the most important decisions was to accept the proposal for the cooperation with Italian Autonomous Region Friuli - Venezia - Giulia (F.V.G.).
This cooperation includes cultural and sports (rugby) exchange between Italy and south-east European countries, with the accent on Balkan area. The representatives of interested countries welcomed this kind of cooperation that also has the aim to contribute to the further development of Veteran sports, especially veteran rugby.
 
The first E.V.R.A. European Festival organiser, Jorge de Herédia (Cascais Vintage Rugby) informed that at the moment 36 teams from 17 countries had, either entered the Festival, or shown great interest to take part at this biggest veteran rugby event in Europe in 2011.
 
E.V.R.A. Secretary informed about successful start of LICOR BEIRAO European Series 2011 in Évora (Portugal) beginning of April.

LB European Series Events Calendar includes now 26 National Tournaments / Mini Festivals in 15 different European countries.
 
As Claudio Da Ponte (Italy) informed, E.V.R.A. will have soon its special tie and souvenir pin-badge.

LICOR BEIRAO EUROPEAN SERIES STARTED IN ÉVORA (Portugal)

The jubilee 10th B P GAS Veteran Tournament in Évora was the successful start of Licor Beirao European Series 2011.

Paulo Soares Oliveira and his organising team have attracted 10 teams from Spain and Portugal to take part at this traditional Veteran Event.
 
All games had been played at Town rugby stadium and were conducted by the competent referees.
 
The "third halftime“ started on Saturday evening in old town hotel M´AR de AR with Welcome Cocktail, to be finished with Farewell Dinner with real "Portuguese taste“.

All participating teams has been awarded by RC Évora (Paulo Soares Oliveira) for taking part, and by Licor Beirao (José Redondo) for opening  successfully EVRA European Licor Beirao Seires 2011.
 
This Tournament was also a good possibility, for Festival organiser Jorge de Herédia and EVRA Secretary Marko Protega,  to advertise for the first E.V.R.A. European Festival in Cascais (September 2011) and for new EVRA members, in spite of the fact that five teams had already entered this big European Event and are EVRA members too.
