The Dendermonde Rugby Club is the only Belgium EVRA member from the very beginning, as well with their traditional Flanders Open Rugby Festival the part of Licor Beirao European Series since 2011.
22nd edition of this international tournament in 2015 gathered 82 teams from all over the Europe.
The tournament provided the competitive part for Men and Women, as well as the social rugby for Veterans and "leisure rugby" players . . .
This non competitive part of 2015 Tournament had 48 European teams from England, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Isle of Wight, Netherlands, Poland, Wales and Belgium, as the host country.
Apart from being 2015 European Series (among 49 other EVRA events) at most international event, this tournament is also the most attractive tournament in European amateur rugby.
10’s Rugby had been chosen as the "mode of play" as it provides the better game formula for players and is more interesting for the (numerous) spectators. The tournament-schedule provides two separated way of playing: a high-level Cup- competitive tournament and an enjoyable - social tournament (call it 'Beer-cup’) for the teams that clearly have other priorities than "to win the first place" . . .
