50 YEARS WAS A LONG WAY TO GO . . .

It was exactly 50 years ago when NADA RFC (founded in 1959, Split, Croatia) won for the first time Yugoslav Championships in 1962. Nine more champion titles of that generation, the ten ones of the new generation (since 1992), with many other trophies, makes this Club the most successful one in the Balkan area.

Celebrating this Anniversary this June six still living team members met together in the Trophy Room of their Club, from left to right: Nikola Rnjak (1938), Ante - Toni Grubisic (1940), Ilija - Ile Bjelanovic (1943), Ante Kuvacic - Kuvar (1942) and Marko Protega (1942). Missing is Gorki Blaskovic (1944).

All six never stopped being involved in Rugby, since 1974 played for Ragbi ´59 - Split Veteran Rugby Club - for a quarter of century!

They are still active Club members . . .
