The whole Event was the part of LIcor Beirao European Series and had the deserved antention (and the congratulations) by EVRA side, being the first such attempt in "Old Rugby booming" country - Italy. The following nine teams took part: ASD Ombre Rosse (Padova), Armata Brancaleon (Mirano), Amatori Rugby Camposampiero, Amatori CUS Rugby (Padova), I Fossili Dolomitici (Belluno), Kankari Rugby Veterans (Venezia), Le Mummie Old Rugby Club (Venezia), Old Rugby Oderzo , Old Ruggers (Treviso). Only at the last Tournament (in Oderzo) also I Quatro Gatti (Vicenza) Old Rugby Club took part. Eight tournaments took place, all in other town of Region Veneto. All the games, under the EVRA - FIR veteran rules, had been whistled by the team of CORV referees, headed by Vanni Favorido (Venezia).

In collaboration with CORV EVRA presented the FAIR - PLAY Award to the Captain of the team of Amatori Rugby Camposampiero and "EVRA Award" to the Old Rugby Veneto Committee, presented to the President Filipo Aghito, for the successful attempt in organising this "Scampionato", first ever in Italy. The usual Licor Beirao Series plagues had been presented to each of nine participating teams.

At the meeting with the CORV President Filipo Aghito, Vice-President Fabio Valentino, Director for Sport Fabio dalla Corte and EVRA - CORV Liason Officer Andrea Romano, EVRA delegation Elio De Anna, Claudio Da Ponte and Marko Protega, had been informed about the 2° Scampionato 2015/16.

It will also be the part of EVRA European Series with the intention of CORV to increase the number of the participating teams

Thanks to "double Andrea" (two CORV gentlemen with the same name) you are able now to share the impressions of this great event of Veteran rugby.
