There will be no European Festival in 2021 . . .
Corona won this time . . . in spite of many candidates to stage the EVRA 6th European Veteran Rugby Festival 2021, this big Event had to be cancelled.
Clubs from Denmark (Erritsoe RFC, Fredericia), Germany (Die Alte Preüssen, Berlin), Netherlands (Amsterdam Academicals, Jeff Buttrefield Trophy winner from 5th EVRA Festival in Belluno 2019), Scotland (Edinburgh Accies), Spain ( Independiente RC, Santander), Turkey (Istanbul Ottomans RFC) and Hungary (Budapest) - Poland ("Orkan" Sochzhachew), both for the second time (after 2013 and 2017) were the "candidates" . . . unfortunately because of different reasons, dominating by Corona Pandemic, we had to cancel the Festival.
The next issue of EVRA European Veteran Rugby Festival will be in Autumn 2023.
Thanks to our members wanted to organize 2021 Event . . . we do hope that some of them keep the interest and candidate again for 2023.
