This traditional Old Rugby Tournament in small, but beautiful town of Mantova organised by ASD Senatori Virgiliani Old Rugby Club together with C S I, under the patronage of the Town Municipality, gathered this time the following veteran rugby formations: Anzio Rugby, Rugby Old Pesaro, CUS Ferrara Old Rugby, These de Viorba, I Ribolitti - Firenze and Modena Rugby Veterans.
The teams have been welcomed at picturesque Piazza Sardelio - Taverna di Claudio with "sporty" breakfast of cheese, salami, bubbles and different drinks. Later on the teams played having been divided into two groups had shown still determination, passion and respect in combination with "the high quality performance" adjusted to the age of the players . . . the referees Federico Nunez Cantona, Giuliano Bellinato, Galujete Ciprian have "made their part of job" with the great feeling about the veteran game.
Among many well know former international players the three-quarter Mirko Tedeschi was chosen as "The Man of the Tournament".
Such successful "Rugby Happening" can not be organised without the help and support from "outside" . . . this time the Organiser thanks goes to:
