OTTOMANS vs.
MOSCOW DRAGONS

Welcome by the Ottomans at the Pub the Russian Veterans came one day before the game to Istanbul. The day after it was the glorious day at the Bozhane field, the "home" of many vets fixtures in the recent years.

The Dragons "short on backs" (see the photo) got "a couple of Turkish backs" who jumped into the Moscow team and so had the opporunity to play for Russians. Ottomans fielded this time mostly younger and novice veteran players to let them have a feeling about the true veteran rugby spirit.

After the match both teams headed to downtown Istanbul for the usual Turkish fare as the part the third half.

This was not the first time that the Dragons visited Istanbul . . . it is now the Ottomans turn to fly "up North to Moscow to return the favour" . . .

The team managers of Ottomans RFC, Ozer Onkel and the Moscow Dragons, Piotr Khoutiev started already to make the plans . . .
