TWO „RUGBY METHUSALMEMS“ MET IN PORTO...

The veterans of one of the oldest European rugby clubs – Heidelberger RK 1872 e.V. – and Old Greens, whose veterans exist since 1992 and as the only one had participated all European festivals, met for the symbolic game last month in Porto (Portugal).
For Heidelberg rugby veterans Portugal has “a magic touch”, apart from TSV Rugby and SCN ´02 oldies now HRK 1872. e.V. Rugby Old boys visited Porto. Usually friendly game, a wonderful “third halftime” and full of nice memories returned Heidelberger home, leaving to the Portuguese the invitation to take part at traditional “Heidelberger Frühling” veteran tournament, and visit town on river Neckar.
This international event is organised, as the part of EVRA European Licor Beirao Series, successfully each year by one of the local clubs – TSV Rugby, SCN ´02 and HRK 1872. e.V.
