JUROMENHA OLDIES HOME & AWAY . . .
Juromenha Festival was very good, great ambience and good Rugby on the occasion of the opening of the Municipal Sport Field in Alandroal.
The opening Festival game was played between CR Juromenha (Portugal) and CR Badajoz (Spain) - two teams on each side of the river Guadiana (Spanish - Portuguese border) that are united in the Associacao Interfronteirica Rugby Guadiana.
The great experience was when small delegation of Clube de Rugby de Juromenha participated in thecelebration of the 40 years of Rugby in Dominican Republic, end of April.
To celebrate that, the Dominican Federation organized a veteran tournament, where the portuguese joined the american team of Miami, Pegasus R.C. The other teams were Old Boys of Santo Domingo and Blue Lions, from Mendoza, Argentina.
Jean Paul Bossuge, the Frenchman that introduced Rúgby in that caribbean country was the Guest of Honour at this celebration.
