LICOR BEIRAO 2012 SERIES WITH NEW COUNTRIES, NEW PLACES
Just one month had passed after the last of the 26 Licor Beirao Tournaments in 2011 (Mantova, Italy) when the European Series Events Calendar already announced twenty nine new events in 14 European countries in this year . . .
Rugby veterans have the possibility to visit new "EVRA destinations“ and play rugby in Bulgaria (Albena), Croatia (Sinj), Hungary (Százhalombata, Balatonliga, Esztergom), Italy (Imola, Milano, Perugia), Poland (Gdansk, Siedlce), Russia (St. Petersburg), Spain (Gernika, Valencia), Ukraine (Odessa, Lviv), as well as to take part at already traditional tournaments in Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Serbia, Spain and Portugal.
There is something for everybody, not only teams but also group of players are welcome at Licor Beirao European tournaments . . .
Veterans of Moldova, Romania and Turkey are working hard to organize first ever tournaments of their own in Cisinau, Bucaresti and Istanbul this autumn . . .
It is important to mention, as a very good example of cooperation, that the veteran tournaments in Hungary and Poland are strongly supported by National Rugby Unions.
Unfortunately there are still such areas that are not able to "get the veterans really together“ like Austria, Slovakia, Scandinavian countries, Cyprus . . . we hope to hear good news from them in the near future.
