DECLARATION ON ANTI-DOPING

C A S C A I S DECLARATION ON ANTI-DOPING IN SPORT

E.V.R.A. Executive Board and all club/team members are conscious that sport should play all important role in the protection of health, in moral and physical  education and in promoting international sportsmanship and understanding.

It is obvious that doping undermines these true values of sport.

E.V.R.A. Executive Board and all its Members issue this Declaration to articulate moral and practical understanding to:

Recognise the role, and support, the World-Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and support its role to coordinate, harmonise and standardise anti-doping efforts according to the Code,

Support the World Anti-Doping Code (the "Code“) adopted by the WADA Foundation Board at the World Conference  on Doping in Sport  (Copenhagen, March 3-5th 2003),

Aware that public authorities (as well as sports organisations) have complementary responsibilities to combat doping in sport,

4. Encourage measures relating to use of nutritional supplements in order that sports people are able to make informed choices to avoid ingestion of prohibited substances.

This Declaration has been issued in accordance with Copenhagen Declaration on Anti-Doping in Sport.
