Old Rugby Cernusco (The Coyotes), the holder of „Jeff Butterfield“ Trophy, the most precious EVRA Festival Award, and the organisers of the traditional Milano Rugby Festival are thinking well ahead.
Suported by Ermano Zacchetii, the Alderman for Sports, Eugenio Alberto Comincini, the Town Mayor, the Old Cernusco captain Erminio Fontanili (in a row from left to right, see the photo) announced the candidature for 2019 EVRA European Festival.
Veteran – Old Rugby is “booming” in Italy, there is no one European country that organises more Old Rugby tournaments as this country, so it is not a surprise that the Italians would like to contribute even more to the Veteran Sports – Rugby with the organisation of the “meeting of all European old players in 2019, at the home field with an Italian flavour”.
Our photo shows Old Rugby Cernusco players presenting the JB Trophy to the Town Mayor in the Town Hall, where the Cup will remain for the next two years.
