Already seven consecutive years the veterans of "Borac“ / Starcevo and "Dinamo“ / Pancevo are playing end of July "get together“ game.
This year the newly founded veteran club from Belgrade - "MOSQUITO 35+“ joined them . . . and Mini - Tournament took place last
Sunday in July.
This was the opportunity for "all generations“ to meet again on and off the field.
Two real oldies Tomanovic Budimir-Tamba (79), Belgrade and Novakov Dusan (74), Pancevo represented the first generation that started to play rugby in 1954, the year when the former Yugoslav Rugby Union had been formed.
Both of them were very excited after the Tournament having the possibility to "play against each other“ after so many years.
Novakov Dusan, the president of RC "Dinamo“ - Veterans congratulated Starcevo neighbours for successfully organised "rugby gathering“ and had
expressed the wish of all that the new veteran club in Serbia continues their "good start“ under the motto Fun & Friendship & Fraternity.
During the third halftime the "Award Ceremony“ took place . . . as usual all teams and individual players got the prizes to remind them on
nice and friendly summer rugby day . . .
