The way in which the Sport is understood nowadays has evolved enormously. Today, sports are seen as the element that boosts the quality of life, and in many cases it is linked to its recreational concept. “Sport Tourism” programmes are those in which the travellers combine a tourism trip with their participation in the special sport events.
TOUR SPORT, Promociones Deportivas, from Valencia, is one of the pioneers of “Sports Tourism” in Spain. Since established in 1994, sports people from more than 75 countries and all continents have participated the events they had organised, had booked more than 500.000 accommodation units in the direct connection to the said events . . .
