FOR 24th TIME DENDERMONDE HOSTED RUGBY PLAYERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD


Dendermonde (Belgium), town that gets its name being situated at the "mouth" of river Dender into Schelde, in the Province of East Flanders, is well known as Rugby capital.

For already 24 years Rugby Club enthusiasts are organising Flanders Open Rugby Tournament, one of the oldest Rugby Festivals in Europe.

Event ´s  programme inlcudes also the players of veteran age (Over 35) . . .

The following teams competed for 2017 Veterans Cup - Mako Marauders (UK), Roubaix (France), Carmathenshire Warriors Legends (Wales), Old  Mid-Withgiftians (UK), Bredase Old Bastards (The Netherlands), Team Sarre (Belgium), Les Copains D´abord (France), Carratha Cavaliers (Australia), Octopus Uden (The Netherlands) and the hosts Dendermonde RC Vets.
